Our Commitment

TallyBoxHQ is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and trustworthy platform for all users. This Code of Conduct outlines the standards of behaviour we expect from everyone who uses our services, including individual users and household members.

Expected Behaviour

  • Honesty: Provide accurate information when creating your account and entering financial data. Do not misrepresent your identity or financial position.
  • Respect: Treat other household members and TallyBoxHQ staff with courtesy and respect in all interactions.
  • Responsibility: Keep your account credentials secure. Do not share your login details with unauthorised individuals.
  • Compliance: Use TallyBoxHQ in accordance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

Prohibited Behaviour

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Using TallyBoxHQ for money laundering, fraud, or any illegal financial activity.
  • Attempting to access another user's account without authorisation.
  • Uploading malicious content, viruses, or harmful code to the platform.
  • Attempting to reverse engineer, exploit, or compromise the security of the platform.
  • Using automated tools or bots to interact with TallyBoxHQ without permission.
  • Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users or TallyBoxHQ staff.
  • Impersonating another individual or entity.
  • Using the platform to store or transmit data that infringes on the rights of others.

Household Responsibilities

When using household features, both the primary account holder and partner share responsibility for:

  • Mutual consent before sharing financial data through the household feature.
  • Accurate categorisation and entry of shared financial information.
  • Respectful communication regarding financial matters.
  • Responsible use of shared access; do not use household access to monitor, control, or manipulate anyone.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter behaviour that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it to us immediately at legal.tallyboxhq@3shtech.com. All reports are treated confidentially, and we will investigate promptly.

Enforcement

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in:

  • A warning or request to correct the behaviour.
  • Temporary suspension of account access.
  • Permanent termination of your account.
  • Referral to law enforcement authorities where criminal activity is suspected.

The severity of the response will be proportionate to the nature and impact of the violation.
